Things were off to a bad start, beginning with the choice of the venue. Elysée Montmartre is just too big for Delain. Besides, promotion for the show was quasi inexistent. Hence, the venue wasn’t crowded and people who were there didn’t seem to know what they came for. The audience wasn’t won over from the start, and the band didn’t make a big effort to change that fact. The concert mechanically happened… song after song… but it was very deceiving. But Charlotte was there, she performed, even if she was very sick a few days before. The effort is worth mentioning!
